No More Tweeting!

It's no surprise that every celebrity has become a part of the Internet phenomenon know as Twitter. Celebs connect with their fans by posting their daily events on the website allowing the public to know what the celebrities are doing at every minute of the day. This type of openness has become a privacy issue with a few studio executives. Studio's such as Dreamworks and Livid Studio have banned their celebrity stars from tweeting while on set or during the process of shooting their films. Cameron Diaz and Mike Meyers have been denied use of the website by Dreamworks during the production of another Shrek film. Producers have actually included this in part of their contract, requiring celebs to sign a no Tweeting clause; this includes a certain time period that the celebrities are not even allowed on the website. A few movie leaks and spoilers have come form the website during other movie productions causing this type extreme action.

Why Wayne... Why!

Rapper Lil' Wayne is facing charges of drug and weapon possession. An unregistered .40 caliber handgun was found in one of Lil' Wayne's tour buses in July 2007. He pleaded guilty in his recent courtroom appearance and with the plea bargain he may have to face up to a year in jail. The charges don't end here. He was also charged with felony drug and weapon possession in Arizona when a weapon and drugs were again found on his tour bus. Traces of marijuana, cocaine, and ecstasy were all found. Lil' Wayne is undoubtedly one of the greatest rappers out there, but this does not set a good example for anyone to follow.

What They Don't Show On The Hills

Stephanie Pratt gets arrested for a DUI on Saturday night. Sister in law, Heidi Montag, was having a birthday party at a local night club that evening. After diner, some dancing, and some drinking Pratt was feeling the symptoms of tiredness. Being the party pooper that she is, she decided it was time to head(drive) home, probably not a good idea after drinking. The cops saw her drive by, looking very suspicious, and pulled her over. After taking a breathalyzer she was arrested for a misdemeanor DUI and taken to Van Nuys jail around 3:45 am. Released the next morning at 10:00 am, she decided to announce that she didn't want to continue her action on MTV show The Hills. The Hills is a dog eat dog world, especially when intoxicated.

Did Falcon spread his wings and fly?

It had been thought that a six year old boy, Falcon, was aboard a homemade helium balloon that lifted off the ground early Thursday morning in Fort Collins, Colorado. The family had been working on the balloon and on Thursday, Falcon got yelled at for climbing inside one of the compartments of the balloon. Apparently Falcon got scared and disappeared. Upon the launch of the balloon, the boy was nowhere to be found; it was thought that he was still inside the compartment in the balloon. His father, Richard Heene, freaked out. He called in the army, air force, national guard, police... all the stops. People that had seen the balloon said that they saw something fall from the balloon and believed that it might have been the boy. The police tracked the path of the balloon to the crash site, and the boy was no where to be found. Surprise surprise. The search continued for days and the search came up empty. When the search was about to be given up, the kid showed his face. He had been hiding in a cardboard box in the families attic. The whole act was thought to be a publicity stunt to gain attention to the families name. It didn't work. Looks like not all Falcon's fly.

Don't forget the lyrics...

At the Pepsi 500 NASCAR event in Fontana, California on Sunday, October 11th Jesse McCartney was to sing the Star Spangled Banner. He started out nervously enough with a cracking voice, and obviously let his nerves get the best of him, because he skipped over an entire part of the song. Yes, McCartney forgot to sing part of what is perhaps one of the most revered songs in the nation. Everyone hears this song at every sporting event ever played, before the game is allowed to start. This song, originally a poem written by Francis Scott Key, was made the national anthem by Congress in 1931, to unite the Americas by one song. Apparently McCartney felt the pressure of singing if front of thousands of people, since no one usually shows up to his concerts, and folded like the bad poker hand that he is.

David Letterman Scandal

Late night talk show host, David Letterman was recently hit with a sex scandal case by none other than his former assistant, Stephanie Birkitt. Sources report that the two were very "close", which can mean lots of things these days. She said that he was very generous to the employees and that he was very nice. Birkitt's former boyfriend, Robert Halderman, took pages from her diary and various other items that would have "ruined" Letterman's reputation and gave him to them and threatened to release the items to the public if Letterman didn't pay him a few million dollars, that must be the going rate for blackmailing today. It's not quite sure whether the allegations are true or not but Letterman definitely has his work cut out for her.

John and Kate Mistake

Everyone knows the once idolized celebrity couple John and Kate Gosselin from the t.v. show "John and Kate plus 8". Well apparently the entire world was devastated when the couple split up, when in reality anyone would've seen it coming. With the whip crackin' Kate and sneaky ole' John, anyone that actually paid attention the the interaction between the two wouldn't be surprised. After the divorce, John had a new, younger woman in the blink of an eye. The divorce process has been a pretty nasty one and John, being the ingenious gentleman that he is, recently decided to wipe their entire joint bank account bone dry. John was interviewed on Larry King and when asked how much money was made from their t.v. show, he reported $500,000. He left Kate with $1000 dollars in the account, it is unknown how much was in there before but does it really matter? Leaving his ex-wife and 8 kids with 1000 dollars, yep he is defiantly a keeper. Good one John!
